Terms and Conditions

DEFINITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to the booking of a golf day by the Company at the Club. The ‘Club’ means The Royal Birkdale Golf Club.

The ‘Company’ means the company or other organisation with whom the Club agrees to provide a booking at the Club. Signing this agreement with the requested deposit will signify both confirmation of booking and acceptance of the terms and conditions. 

CONFIRMATION – BY COMPANY

All bookings will be held on a 30-day option until the Agreement is signed by the Company and received by the Club together with the deposit.  The Club reserves the right to release the booking if the Agreement and deposit are not returned within the 30 day period.

CONFIRMATION OF NUMBERS

The final numbers for catering must be confirmed by the Company at least 48 hours in advance of your event. This will be the minimum you are charged for on your final invoice. 

ACCOUNT CHARGES

We will agree in advance any services and supplies you would like to charge to your main account, including those that you are happy for your individual guests to charge. These will be included in your final invoice.

PRESTIGE DAY FEE

The Prestige Day package is based on 64 golfers. The fee is the minimum charge for the day. There will be additional charges for any extra guests or services and these will be included in the final invoice.

ALTERATIONS

Any alteration to the number of golfers must be confirmed in writing to Club.

CANCELLATIONS

The Company must inform the Club in writing if they wish to cancel the event. In the event of cancellation, the Club will retain the non-refundable deposit. If notice of cancellation is received by the Club less than three calendar months before the day of the event the Company will also be liable for the cancellation fee.

PAYMENT TERMS

The following payments shall be made by The Company to the Club at the times indicated. An initial non-refundable deposit, payable upon signing of the agreement. The Company will be invoiced after the event for the balance of all costs. Payment should be made within 30 days. The Club reserves the right to charge the Company interest at 2% over the Bank of England Base Rate if payment is not received within the 30 day period.
