Australian Trip

It is thus my pleasure, on behalf of the General Managers of 6 of Australia’s most famous and highly ranked golf courses, to invite Royal Birkdale Golf Club to participate in the Great Southern Classic Invitational from 12-21 March 2024.

The host clubs are Royal Melbourne Golf Club, Kingston Heath Golf Club and Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club in Melbourne, and New South Wales Golf Club, The Australian Golf Club and Elanora Golf Club in Sydney.

This invitation is being sent to a limited number of premier international golf clubs, and we hope you will be in a position to send a team to enjoy our summer sunshine, world renowned golf courses, 5 star hotels and some outstanding Australian hospitality.    

Two players from a club will make up a team, and clubs may enter up to two teams. A total of 40 two-man teams will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis.

Spouses/partners are welcome to accompany team members, and a limited number of tee times will be provided at the courses for golfing spouses/partners.
